    Morning Lads

    Just a quick one to ask if any of yous have been down SS Beach this weekend and have you noticed if them drift nets are out


    Was planning on a 4:30am start tomorrow on the beach close to the gates but i guess no point if there out

    The net that runs close by the pier is there pretty much full time during the summer mate but its not a drift net. It is set in the same place everyday. Don't let it out you off, fish around it... Good luck

          you can basically walk around the pier gate if you want but its obviously at your own risk.

              It's a salmon t net which his licence allows it to be in the water 24 hrs a day,as far as I was aware it was the only t net salmon licence on north east coast of England.
