  • Garfish.?.

I see from the local fishing report(DK) that Garfish have invaded the danish coast, they spend winter in the north sea and move to the coastal waters well, now!. just wondering if they can be caught on the N.E.coast as i never saw any caught when i was a kid/teen. anyways its great fun for the kids as there are 1000`s of them, they take anything from small spinners to float-fished macky strips, and of coarse fly-fishing.. good luck if the`re inFangster.dk

could it be that nobody goes directly after them? i mean if you hear some people catching the odd one, then there must be many more because they swim in packs, or should i say shoals. danes seem to catch most garfish about 1 meter or so under the surface on light tackle. cant hurt to try, if they are over here, then there must be some over the other side of the pond(north-sea)
well tight lines what ever your fishing for lads
