hi looking to do some float fishing for wrasse. fancy giving st marys a go.
any advise on tides marks etc would be much appreciated. ive only ever been there with the bairn last summer fished in front of the toilet blocks????

I caught some Wrasse there on the float last Sunday mate, obviously you can only fish 3 hour (ish) either side of low unless you are prepared to get stuck on the island over high water. Me I prefer small tides to have a bit more water. Bottom is very uneven so got to be very careful with depth on float not to get hung up. As for marks I would stay mobile and drop float into any likely looking holes and give it 10 minutes. I like the North side of the island.
