  • FROZEN PEELER

    Anybody want some ???????

I\'ve had a message from somebody who\'s got over 40 of them.

Don\'t ask \"how much £££?\"......I haven\'t got a clue and that\'s something to be sorted between seller / buyer.

If you\'re interested, send me a PM and include your e-mail address, please.

May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

Bit harsh BV, many lads on the board have had great deals on crabs here. Mainly from others who have \"Had a few spare\" and do people a favour as a result. I think in all of the years the board has been going you could count the attempts at profiteering from members could be counted on Jeremy Beadles Hand (Or Jeremy Beadnell if you live local likes)

Heather, Ell\'s right and you really must be more trusting of fellow anglers.
The whole purpose of this site is to offer an opportunity to help each other out. I doubt if anybody here sets out with the intention to make a profit or pull a fast one - they\'d soon be recognised as such.

My son, Ian and his mate, Craig were fishing from the Groyne last weekend. There was a bloke fishing a short distance away from them and when he was packing up to leave, he gave Ian a dozen peeler he had left over.

He could\'ve just took them home to freeze, but instead, he helped out a fellow angler. Nice to see that sort of thing happening and if people make such offers on the Board, I don\'t think their motives should be questioned. After all, those who contact the \"seller\" can always refuse the price being asked.

How man! I had first dibs
            1 crabless ellboy
            1 crabless ellboy

Good tides for the crab though at the moment but I can\'t even bend down to pick up a dog end just now. Back\'s still Donald Ducked! 2 Hrs on me seat box Sunday set it away again. Lot\'s of small fish taken from the bay side Roker pier while I was there, flatties, whities and coalies. I stuck to me guns and fired out seawards and didn\'t even get Bus Fare Home. Many fish but all undersize, not tiny but small. a good case for barbless hooks. I did have the misfortune to see a couple of them dispatched in the \"Splat em on the deck manner\" nevertheless.

Good light sport to be had on Roker Pier by responsible anglers was what I actually meant to say

                        Peter,

Whilst I like to think that we\'re all \"buddies\" on NESA, it was just an e-mail out of the blue, from somebody I\'ve never met, offering some crabs for sale. Not even sure if he\'s a NESA member (obviously reads the Board though, as he knew somebody was after some peeler).

Nice how people can help out like that.....
