According to the Sea Angler mag we should be knee deep in them. Next time i,m down Hartlepool i,ll go looking again-somehow though i still think they will be hard to find.

Worth looking back at some old posts, been alot of trouble in the past from crab collecting. Bit of a war in some areas as it is a second income for some people and its not easy setting, cleaning traps etc.

Just make sure if you do go out collecting that you are not in peoples tyres etc, this whole issue popped up last year about "they not peoples tyres" etc.

Anyway look at past posts, not worth the bother in my opinion on this coast.

Bit like seacoaling. Years ago (and probs now) a lot of fists flew for the best marks. I used to see the big old Bedford trucks down Hartlepool with lads shoveling coal in. It must have been backbraking to fill them.
One lad Freddie Jackson made him a millionaire. I used to look after his three kids. Well stop them fighting when Fred and his missus went out.
