Nar - your best method is to cube your black pudding into 1 cm dice ,along with 1cm dice of pancetta, along with diced shallots red onions and a good guzzle of sherry vineger ,a good hand full of fresh thyme and marjoram- saute these off until you have a base sauce ,cook your turbot in olive oil, skin side down for 2 mins until crisp (or until you see the top white flesh of your fillet turning opaque) turn fish and leave to rest under a medium grill - serve on a bed of mashed potato ,cut through with sliced spring onions and freshlly grated parmasan - drizle your black pudding and pancetta sauce around the dish ,serve and expect a favour from the one that loves you

          Your lass will love you

the way you deliver you lure at the monkey hole could make all the difference, too sharp a thrust when you whip it out and you may get unexpected results, best with a smooth overhead delivery I reckon, a wobbler might work well but poppers always seem to be used to by some when they get it out and want it in deep.

Thanks for the advice. I'm planning a shot tonight, might try tossing a flying condom after groundbaiting with a chicken korma & a bottle of grigio
