  • Another Four Months

And this would be perfect. But it's bloody June next week and the summer fishing is nacked for another couple of weeks at least until the colour drops out of the water.

Is it just me or is anyone else getting fed up with this constant stream of easterly winds stirring things up when what we want is a nice period of warm, settled weather?

Patience, patience. The summer fishing will be here soon, usually the sea clears all of a sudden and then the lures and spinners come out.

True Mark, but it doesn't help when I've got the rest of this week off work

Try being a boat owner, every week you dont use it works out at about £80 wasted ha.

Same happened the previous 2 years with 2012 worse as we had loads of rain as well making the tide line about 8 miles off some days.

We can but hope for some west winds

Water will still be filthy for the Seaham club match on Sunday evening, going to be another tough one I reckon. Might have a pop out somewhere tomorrow as well just for the hell of it, beats sitting in the house I suppose
