  • Eyemouth tomorrow

Heading up to Eyemouth for a few days tomorrow, on putting the stuff together.

So far I have packed a load of spoons, lures, jellies etc. got some frozen bait I will take up as well. got a nice big priest, rod rest, bags and a knife. Anyway I have packed the following rods (all cheapo ron thompsons, but at £9.99 a pop I dont care if they get bust!)

    7 foot 5g to 20g with 8lb line
    10 foot 30g to 90g with 15lb line
    13 foot 100g to 250g with 30lb line

I am hoping that should just about cover it, do any of you bother with nets or just hand lift them in?

Oh, I have got one of those grab catcher things as well so going to spend some time in the harbour with the bairn while I am up there

Anyone got any thoughts on what I might have missed?

haha, just want to make sure I have a good one and don't forget anything! The wife is heading up to see her mum so the last thing I want is to be sat listening to them two waffle for near on three days because I have forgot something! Don't get me wrong, I love them both to bits - but there is only so much waffle my mind can take before it switches off!

Bum, never thought about that - are there any tackle shops up there? I asked the mother in law but she couldn't think of any.

Leaving here back of 7 in the morning, so no chance of that fella - looks like it will be lures or nothing!

Just on looking at google maps - is it worth chucking a few lures off the piers? if so - north or south?
