Also is the parking at the harbour free? the caravan park and the cannons are only a few minutes walk from her mums, but when I try the golf course I am too lazy to walk over
south side best for the kids or was, and if only getting small stuff try a hand line over the side for crabs, its amazing how catching a few crab can entertain them if no fish show

Saw a couple of kids doing that last time I was up there. Any decent crabs in there then? Haven't had crab in ages!

Yeah, as Waco says, south side is the best side for the kids mate...

just for the green shore crab, it canny popular down south and keeps the kids interested if the the fish not come out to play, met a family who was holidaying at craster who came from the south, and they were on craster pier crabbing with hand lines and were enjoying it that much just about joined in myself with giving the 2 kids some smelly rag ,macki, crabs leg sand eel and mussel and were over the moon with the amount of crab they caught, and eventually they left when there was no water left in harbor

haha, so did they keep it all or let it go again? Any catch/keep size limits on them or do they all have to be returned? I have to say I know absolutely nothing about catching crabs (erm, you know what I mean ) so I don't even know if I am allowed to keep them or if they have to be returned. Quite looking forward to giving it a try though.
