Only way I would take one is for free I have tried them there not for our coastline to start off with the reel seats are fixed in the upright position and secondly they only over head thumpers if you can't power cast a rod it's not suitable for heavy ground, yes he says there match rods designed for fishing over mixed onto clean but you can over head thump them so can't fish at range, unless he knows marks that's rough ground for 50 yards then sand.

they be canny where i fish sandsend cliffs and all we use is a 535 or fathom 25 with 45lb straight through, as the kelp and rock only 30/50 yrds away,

Surely if you can't perform an inertia cast on a rod that's rated to 250g then it shouldn't be rated to 250g
I could overhead thump my Oxblood TTR with 400g... It's not rated to 400g though...
            False marketing in my opinion!

Surely there are loads of rough ground anglers prepared to prove that the rod they use is better than these fairy sticks that are only good for flatty bashing and match anglers

They seem a good rod to me if it can bend that much also puts the leads out a canny way with little effort
