I reckon that it's a good thing, the north pier is in a bit of a state after all. If I understand correctly you'll still have access through the winter so it's only for two summers isn't it.
When it's over club members will have access to both piers which is great news surely. It wasn't that long ago that it looked as though we'd never be allowed to fish the pier again so I'm happy with this.
