I would bet a lot of people did!!..That is one of the main incentives of joining you get a key for the pier gates which is now useless

It was the only reason i joined last time i did join, not renewed the following year due to every man and his dog climbing around/up onto the pier far too easily.

The pier needs a good refurb and while that pier is shut you can fish off the south and when all the works done they are leaving the south pier open to members I don't see what the problem is really.

This matter is out of S.S.A.C.hands if the pier needs repairs done that are essential.If this work is not done the pier may breach which would probably then be condemned for good.
Members with pier key will be able to use that same key for the south pier gate which will work on both gates when north pier is re-opened 31st October.
S.S.A.C. are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yes mate we'll think if you are paying the membership and people are walking on on would you not be ****ed off not bothered my self but know a few lads who have payed there money and said it's taking the ****

I'd be grateful for being allowed on the south pier. Could have ended up with no pier at all.
