From what I've read it will be an easterly on Saturday and North-Easterly on Sunday with straight northerlies Monday and Tuesday. Should be some good fishing and I expect a lot of catch reports, I know I'll be out Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.

The forecast definitly looks ideal for next week, think they'll be loads of good catch reports to read. I am just after another double to end the season.

Next week definitely looking good hoping to get out on the coast around Newcastle at least twice next week. Anyone got any suggestions on good spots, as I'm pretty new to the area.

Either is fine mate. not so confident about fishing off the beach at the moment as i don't have a lot of experience or gear yet. Thinking about trying South Shields pier with rag and mackerel on a pulley rig.

In that case i'd see what it's like on the day mate, if the swell comes fron the north, as its forcast, check to see if there is a bit of a roll along the north side of south shields pier the first gate should fish. If your fishing over high or low tide you could try Brigams, its a river mark so not much cop if your between high and low due to the pull of the tide. But rule of thumb if there's a roll on i'll be on the a beach.

                        good luck
