    Anybody no if they are cathing owt in whithorn.

    Im gan up this weekend.
    Beat them in their own back yard

    I fished the Peever open this weekend Steven, at Kirkcudbright. There were stacks of dogfish, plenty of pollack to 6lb and a 5.5lb Smoothhound. The winner had 49lb of dogs, I came 4th with 42lb - how many places do you know where you only get 4th with 42lb!!!

      well done mate is this a pegged comp or can you fish anywhere.

      Stephen there should be Pollock,Bass and mackerel off the rocks falling to lures and floats might even be the odd Conger if fishing the bottom.
      You staying in Whithorn mate ?

          We usally camp on the fields at whithorn but this year we are having a change and going to burrowhead.

          Well done for catching so many doggys 42lb good weight that mate.

              I don\'t know the exact weights Alan, but Alec Bell won by an ounce with just over 49lb. Mick Graham was 2nd and Dave Little was third with over 46lb. Some lucky sod was 4th with 42lb :P
