  • EARLY START - THAT WAS THE PLAN

Was intending to get down to the end of Shields pier for 1st light - light spinning for mackeral.......BUT.......been sat on here all night \"chain-drinking\" (if there\'s such a phrase), the old John Smiths, so I\'m in no fit state to fish.....let alone drive down there...lol :P

its a slippery slope! Its gone half one, I\'ve another couple of hours work before Ic an think about ducking out and ahve the joy of taking ahls the kids from the school to lakes for the week at 8am

And unless this global warming thing has really taken hold, I\'m pretty confident when I say that there are nee mackeral in windermere

                          another fishless week ahead!

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

Enjoy (or is it \"endure\"?) your week away, Mark.

Honest Mark, you\'ve got more chance of getting a macky out of Windermere than I have of getting one from Shields Pier, m8.....lol

\"another fishless week ahead!\" Nowt to it, m8 - you get used to it

Lol Andy......seeing the new day dawn\'s nowt new for me - what IS though (and a bit worrying really), is the drinkin\' all through the night

Hope that if you do see me down there early one Summers morning, I\'m not huddled up asleep on a bench on the pier with a bottle in a brown paper bag.....lol
