Pottery Bank Slipway

Hey,just to let you all know the fishing at the slipway at pottery bank(just along from welstream) has been the best fishing in the tyne ive seen in a while.There was 3 5lb cod\'s pulled out 2weeks ago,and last wednesday,me and few m8\'s caught 8 2-3lb cod. The funny thing is,we took down Rag,Lug and crab,and they didnt touch the crab or rag,just lug.Every fish caught was caught on lugworm,so i reccomend a good few bags of lug and a trip down to the slipway for a good nights fishing!

hi liam ,,should have said ya had been fishing could have wandered down and scared ya fish away lol,,,aint been fishing for awhile now and wont be for the forseable future been in hospital last week 4 a few days [ 6] and back in again on friday for 1 day then back in again on the 28th june [ dreading that 1 ] ille tell david over the phone not saying on the net for good reasons but just to say its bl..dy painful...thought you wanted the boat mould ? you never phoned did you or have you been out with alan yet ?? looks like i wont be able 2 go this yr ,,still waiting for that video by the way ....paul
