The 4th Northumbrian open results 2008
344 seniors 16 juniors, 8 ladies and 18 club members fished. Conditions were like a summer’s day.
108 weighed in for a total of 323lb.the catch was made up with 29 cod 6 coalys 1 wrasse
And 299 flattys.
The winner with 2 cod and 1 coaly for 14lb 3 1/8 was Andrew Stanton
He received £1000 and the Northumbrian cup. He also scooped the team event
With Paul buddles who blanked to receive £188 he also had the heaviest fish
Of 10lb 4 7/8 to win the £500 he also scooped the superpool to win a further £175
the junior winner with 4 fish for 3lb 5/8 was R.landsbury recieved £50 tackle voucher
the lady winner with 4 fish for 3lb 7/8 was gail oliver received £50 tackle voucher
the heaviest fish was caught by andrew stanton with a cod of 10lb4oz 7/8 recieved £500
2nd heaviest fish was caught by graham turner with a cod of 4lb 12oz 5/8 £100
