Rocky island seaton sluice

Had a fishing session this morning started off North Shields fish quay & lost gear on every cast. So got fed up & decided to head to Blyth pier,
Ended up fishing the sluice........
1st cast & a small 1lb (ish) bass
Then small under size flattie
Then it went quiet when a seal arrived:-(

Fished upto high water ended up with 1 bass 2 flatties, 1 undersized cod, 2 decent sized eels. & a whiting over 1lb

All returned apart from the whiting which took the Hook right down to its tail!!

canny sesh that tony but I reckon the seal would have caught more

That's my excuse that I didn't get any big fish......cos the seal had them
