Well mate there it is clear as mud, all the lads have favourite rods, just take what you like and get stuck in with some good bait and you'll be pulling them in, wish I was going.

Just out of interest how many c curves have you had? Pretty sure I know the answer
Sorry mate but I'm a bit old for my gears better than your gear and I've had more rods than you etc. It seems to me every rod you pick up you say is soft. Change the one track mind, rods are meant to bend. Just out of curiosity, why would anyone feel the need to blast two whiting and 16oz out

No I sold the Tt as it was to stiff and he cast it to see if the rod will cope

pighunter I have taken the white tip tape off my new TT and put a spiral of "lilac" mighty bright tape, and wot a transformation, wow its no longer too stiff , it feels lovely and fairly rockets the 200g lead out.... with this I thought id do the same to the c curve I bought off ya and WOW , fabulous it stiffened it up and now casts 200g with ease ..... AMAZING

only downside is I'd call it PINK not lilac lol

My point being how can you comment on a rods performance/ capability without owning one

the C Curve will and can chuck 200g plus bait but best suited to a 6oz and bait and that's more than enough for here and for Norway it will also cope with mixed to rough ground I prefer the TT for the rough stuff though
                      Cheers Nicky

there was a c curve snapped at UKSF yesterday, wasnt down to bad casting style, think he was only on the 150g, snapped in the butt section, now a v curve

I wouldn't rate them at all, for a rod to snap in the butt something is seriously wrong, its a good job they have shrink tubing on or might of seriously injured him

Very dangerous lucky a caster has shrink tube on I was not stating there are prone to snapping just not suitable for 200g leads and big baits

Simon if the butt has snapped then that just proves the tip was sound. No seriously its not the type of rod I would have thought a uksf caster would use.bit undergunned for a serious top caster.sure it wasnt a tt
