Evening all.just on serviceing a few reels n cant find my reel grease.got plenty white lithium grease thats used on bikes n wondering if that be ok for gear cogs on the reels.me thinking it should be ok as holds well onto parts when used on bikes.cheers

I have just been on the fishing reel repair by alan tani who repairs and services reels and he says to avoid it and all the posts are from people who have used it and they say avoid it at all costs as it hardens quite quickly .Hope this helps .
