  • WHITEBAIT

OK, so sometimes you just buy on impulse, without thnking \"why do I want this\"........

I was in a local supermarket today and I noticed in their fresh fish bit, they had large packs of fresh whitebait for under a quid.

They looked ideal to use as bait, so I bought a couple of packs.

    Now I\'ve got \'em , I\'m wondering \"bait for WHAT??\"

Any suggestions? (other than \"don\'t buy on impulse\".....lol)

bait for your spinning rod. zip slider or something like it, 2oz lead, 4 to 5 foot trace, hook with a little fishy lashed on. tried it with both sandeels and whitebait, works well for pollack and the mackeral will eat owt
