  • River Tyne

    Hello all.
Can you fish on the river Tyne without a licence? Or is the Tyne considered river fishing all the way to the sea?

    thx...rob

You dont need a licence to fish in salt water, you can fish the Tyne from the river mouth right up until its classed as freshwater, i cant help you on that point though as im not sure what the upper limit is, somebody will let you know im sure but ive never fished past The British Airways car park mark on the north bank.
