    what is it like for fishing never fished it before do you lose loads of leads. etc

    Its not so bad half way along but on the end you need a good cast to clear the snags and when reeling in be quick, ive always said tho you need to loose leads to be where the fish are just put rottom bottom on and hope they work.

        When fishing the end aim for thecastle ruins mate. Seems to be the most productive spot. Rotton bottoms are a definite

            stay away on the bigger tides or you will get hung up nearly every cast.

              Agreed... fish the end of the groyn but cast left and cast towards the castle on the other side of the river, and use a fast retreve reel or you'l get snagged
              It's a thin line that seperates an Angler from a madman standing on the beach in january at midnight in -5 degrees with a northerly wind blowing in your face
