    Well i,ve got peeler,squid,razer,mussel.sardines(canny cheap oily fish),runny in the fridge. And some fresh rag ordered for tomorrow.
    Fancy the Heugh to the right off the rocks.Using two rods i,ll see how things shape up. TOMORROW THERES A BIG COD OUT THERE SOMEWHERE WITH MY WITH MY NAME ON IT. Great,great great,great great great great grandson of my 7lb er caught 30 yrs ago

      Not sure what the sea is like at the minute but it's forecast to get rougher in the morning so you just might be in with a chance. It's supposed to still be fairly rough on Thursday so I might give it a go then.

                Good luck Mick, why don't you try between the rocks on the bottom left of the heugh? I'm sure it's called London rock.

                  Good luck,i have tried sardines,they were on the cheap shelf at Asda,even with bait elastic they wouldn't stay on the hook.

                            The sardines i use a fresh over the counter. Two for 48p. I cut them into about 5 segments then seperate the segments. Use them on size 1 hooks on a three hook flapper chucked out 30 yards.
                            Bait is fine. Cheap and i have caught fish on them for fun. If there is no macky its ok. I do sometimes wrap a bait of bait cotton round any loose bit but not that often.
