Just my opinion but go for the RT its excellent value for money and will do the business as well, make sure you go for the 13\'6\" model though as there is a difference, the casting weight of the 13-6 is alot higher,i\'am not sure how it compares to the Apollo but i\'am led to believe they are\'nt as good as they used to be.
You should be able to pick up the RT for £99

Warren,
The Kompressor Sport is a great \"all round\" rod that can handle the rough ground. But it\'s NOT specifically designed for rough ground fishing.
I\'ve had one for a couple of years, now (bought if from a lad off the site) and find it excellent. However, for the rocks, I use a Century \"Shoreline\" - a rod built for ID Fishing on a Century blank. Stiff as owt and will handle just about anything.
My son uses one of the last made \"original\" Apollos and loves it - can\'t comment on the newer version, though.

I\'ve the old Apollo and it\'s the dogs do-da\'s. Don\'t care what anyone else thinks. Fell and landed on it one night, snapped the butt. Took it back to where I got it from, came back a week later....whole new butt and replaced coasters with reel seat.
Lad i got it off works for Grey\'s and wouldn\'t B/S me says the new rod is even better!"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"
