ADIOS for now
well fished my last session this winter, back river fishing till late September, but me and my m8 malcom have had some funny moments this winter...from the guy on roker pier fishing with a hand line,, metal door knocker and no hook....the two guys and dog who set up a barbecue in a metal drum at sunderland fish quay, spent half an hour getting it to light but caught nowt to put on it ... the guy asking me in November while I was fishing Hartlepool if the mackerel were in yet!!!!! and finally last Tuesday at Hartlepool middleton pier in the sunshine intermittent fog and flat sea a lone yachtsman, who sailed in from the gloom and just missed the pier carried on and stranded himself on middleton sands.he must have been using an old AA map as he missed the harbour by half a mile... he was pulled off by the smiling lifeboat men and escorted into Hartlepool harbour ......regards all DB
