  • Fishing tonight

Is it really worth going out fishing tonight? i fancy it, but everywhere is lookin unfishable, apart from blyth pier, and it could be quite windy... anyone heard of a good number of fish being caught? or are most of you sensible and waiting till it calms down

Chatted with a lad at work whose dad is planning on fishing Blyth Pier tonight... we both sniggered coz he'd end up like this bloke

Saturday from 1800 looks like a good time to go fishing

Very true, just been to the beach and the sea is huge but some gusts had me almost off my feet.
Be careful if anyone does dare to go out tonight.

Put your feet up, open a few cans and watch hairy bikers on bbc2 tonight, fishing the sea in these conditions will be mighty uncomfortable to say the least.

we were going to fish blyth pier tonight but decided to cancel. saturday looking good now tho'
It's a thin line that seperates an Angler from a madman standing on the beach in january at midnight in -5 degrees with a northerly wind blowing in your face

Just been to cambois and whitely bay thought they would have a bit shelter as sometimes they fish when other places are unfishable but not to be ,dont know if its because they are small tides but the sea is just running right up the beaches and you would think it was high water. hopefully tomorrow.
