works fine, it replicates multiplier style release. as long as u make sure the drag is tightened its absolutly fine. i have it taped on to my tt sport in the reel down position , . no bother with my thumbutton so farPunch and pull then let rip

Learnt the hard way with braid myself
Almost ripped all my nail off when line got caught under it on a big cast...bled for ages, but still kept on fishing like!
I have never used one of these...however I might get one next timeBest shore catch 2016 - 7.5lb cod, Seaton Carew!

Finger may have had a size reduction by then.....
I ordered a proper one anyway yesterday but have just been out with a leather finger stall on.
and the satisfaction of knowing you can put more effort into a cast is great. I'm still not giving it the best though, pretty sure a cannon release would give me better results but it's put a good 15 to 20 yards onto my cast in the meantime.
I can hit 60yds nowTold the missus I was going on a diet. I'd only eat what I caught

I use a glove as to be honest never knew there was a cannon adapted to FS, never seen anyone use one either.
