If you've lost it........I might've found it..........

Had a few hours out fishing yesterday afternoon / evening (S. Shields pier).

Started off at Rail End - went up to the 44 - then had the last hour & a half just up from the brigade hut.

Pier was deserted all afternoon apart from me & Ian and one guy fishing from the top.....when he left there was only me & Ian.

It was when we were just up from the Brigade hut (be about 6:00pm-ish), three guys walked past us heading up the pier (2 with headtorches on, one without). It wasn't until they were beyoned the gate that I noticed a hat lying on the ground just a few yards up from were I was fishing - it wasn't there previously.

I picked it up and put it on the wall near my gear, thinking that it must belong to one of the three guys and half expected somebody to come back looking for it.......they didn't.

So........if it's YOUR "hat" and can describe it......it's been washed in the washing machine and dried........you can e-mail me at nesasite@hotmail.com with your details and I'll post it off to you...........

nice one tc good to hear from you.The next time your on the pier give me a shout and i will bring my washing basket down.
