    Sounds like a no brainer - or is it?

    Analogue or Digital when it comes to weighing scales...and does anyone have a preferred brand/make?

    going to purchase a decent set of scales in the coming year so i wudnt mind hearing peoples opinions on this 1 too?

      average of £40 for digital to about £15/20 for analogue spring balance affairs

      let's put it another way....what do they use at Comp's/Opens etc as the most trusted method?

        the digital scales are spot on ,cheap ones out there,but quality weighs up the right kilo , pound ,ounces

            Cheap set.
            If it is a huge fish then you will no doubt want it veriefied,if you don't then who cares just how accurate your scales are and if it ain't huge then who cares.
            Would anyone catching a 8,9 pound cod care if the scales were off a pound or 2,how would you know.
            Plus how do you know how accurate any scales are after bouncing around your bag/box for months.
            You going to get a cert every time you go out.
            I often feel we get hung up on having the " best" gear when really we won't ever need it.
