£480 rrp? That's a lot of money though. Can get a too end century or zippy for that price. Can't help but think they are pricing themselves out of the market a little. Nice rods but I'd be concerned that people won't take a punt on them

Been down the three piece floppy jiloppy route and it didnt last long. Saying that if I was to try another it would be the penn affinity twin tip or greys triplex possibly, which are much better priced. But then again it depends what your using them for I suppose.

Personally i wouldnt pay that price especially because i know nothing about the rods but they seem to be popular with the pro match fishermen and world champions so i hear, There is centurys etc cheaper as already said that will do the job they do if not a better job and much cheaper...each to their own though

Ive got continental rods and they excel 2-5 oz sinkers. If your hoying 5-7 then stick to your uk beach rods.

aye, I received 55 Maseraty rods in, rrp £495, sold all 55 in less than 6 hours, I dont think people will take a punt on them either, dont think they are pricing themselves out though, you certainly get what you pay for, knowledge is power, you need new batteries
