anyone have one of these floatation suits? Ive just ordered one off ebay nd wondering what theyre like? cheers

    Had one for two years.

Nice piece of kit and still works fine in terms of zips fastening etc.

Got the two piece and only niggle I have is the zip on the trousers only zips down from the top.

These means that those with less than 12 inches may struggle when nature calls...a friend pointed this out to me because I hadn't realised it was a fault

    Cheers

Having learned by mistake. Two things I would say when buying a flotation suit. First, make sure all zips are preferably nylon. Metal zips will and do corrode. Secondly, the suits rely on closed cell foam for flotatation, and much of their long term waterproofing. Have a feel, if you can, to see how far down the legs and arms the foam comes. I bought one where it came down the legs to just above the knee. After a little while I started to get wet lower legs. Waterproofing the legs is no use, as water can come in anywhere on the suit, run down the foam inner, and fill up your boots. It wasn't a Sunbridge though.

It is a bit of a fart on having a pee. Thought i was the only one to notice.
Sundridge i got fine but zipper on front of top is playing up. Still the velcro is good so it holds it in place when it will not zip up.
