I meant when some get the Journal on Saturday and find no angling column, even though in last weeks column it said it was moving to Friday, someone will be on the phone asking where the angling column is. ALRIGHT BERT. Sorry didnt mean to shout.

                  journal

aboot time there was some more space for the sea-angling alan.
the lads that are in clubs that finish after 3rd might get a mention???
not saying i finish above 3rd but its not all about winning.well thats my excuse and sticking to it.

yes it is nice to see your name in print ryan, but most anglers want to know where the best catches come from, it is not just a case of saying there have been bags to 20lb from so and so, you have to have the proof to back it up, i could write a whole page and sometimes do and then have to cut it down to the number of words i am allowed then that could be cut again. Not easy this angling writing. Another problem is when I ask anglers for details of there catch, quite often i get it to late and just put their catch in as general info as i have no names. If anyone has any decent catches or decent or odd fish let me know asap, as much detail as possible and your full name, not your web name.

Alan - 16th February 2008 - Barge Bottom - 8 fish for 24 lb, part of a catch of 92 stone caught by the North team in a certain Comp on that day. Will leave it on the doorstep for you lol. Hope the new column goes well.
