    is st abbs head worth a shot of spinning yet lads or is it to early...any info appreciated.

    There is a chance of some small stuff but if you are after fish of a decent stamp then yes it is too early. I would give it at least another month.

      As rule of thumb we always wait until the second week in may i have had fish before but never any good ones until may or after that is pollick and that is for spinning---- it fishes good sometimes for cod early on but watch them rocks if it rains

        Yes you can get fish but a lot relays on the water visibility (poor at the moment) and the water temperature (again cold... Will start to warm over the next month or so...). Fish tend to be more active when they can see the lure and be water is a bit warmer mate giving them more energy to go chasing spinners etc but you will certainly still get the odd fish anyway so worth a shot!
