      Nice lively ragworm, don't skimp on the bait. Tipping off with a sliver of squid or mackerel sometimes makes a difference but I've had plenty on just plain ragworm baits

        Mostly just plain rag worm for me...but if I've any fresh crab around, I sometimes tip off with a few legs...

            All the places have been mentioned really but would only target them in daylight. I've seen a lot of people fishing for them in the dark but they are very rarely caught then

              Interesting to hear about Plaice up Dumfries and Galloway. Going up there for a week in May and soon get sick of wading through dogfish so a day after Plaice would be a nice change. If anyone could recommend a mark and best tide conditions I would be very grateful.
