  • Help Neded!!! Stuck Real Seat

Fished yesterday and now i have a problem, as my 6500 mag elite doesnt fit that snugly in the screw real seat on my nemisis plus. As a result i think yesterday i must have overtightened it as i cant get the bloody thing loose!

brute force has not worked neither has trying to get a bit of oil into the screw threads to free it up!

Thing is the real is caked with sand and i need it off sonner rather than later!

    Any ideas appreciated?

      Remove

Try a junior hacksaw and remove very carefully and then get one that fits properly and problem will never happen again there are some cracking bits if kit out there for only a couple of quid

              good news

              hi there

glad it worked but one thing to look out for is some of the Fuji reel seats as they are spot on and will hold almost any reel without sticking some of the copies are not very well made

I have no reason to think its a copy but it works fine on my slsh and 7000 which i normaly use with the rod so will just continue to use them
