  • Last chance tonight while the sea's rough

Still got some bait left from the last couple of sessions, just been having a look at the forcast and the webcams, the way I understand things there is a nice sea on at the minute that might pick up a bit more as the day goes on but it's got to drop back tonight, looks like it will have to be tonight when I go and use my bait up, don't finish work till 23:00 though.

Just wondering if anyone else is out tonight?

Also wondering if anyone knows any decent beaches that fish at any state of the tide, high tide isn't till 04:10 so need to fish from just after low up to high.

I can remember a beach just south of Hendon that I visited about 10 year ago, I can remember that you can drive your car down onto a prom (not supposed to mind) and you can fish close to your car, there are steps/ramps down to the beach, if my memory serves me right you can even fish off the top of the prom at high tide (big tides). Does anyone know what this beach is called and would it fish from just after low tide up. Just had a quick look on google earth as I was typing this and the beach I'm talking about is just north (1/2 mile) of Seaham Harbour. Any help would be appreciated.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares?... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

You are referring to the Hall Beach... it best fishes on a flood tide.

It's not just the suit he needs he also needs new chest waders, he put his old pair in the bin when we finished fishing on Sunday afternoon, not sure whether the waders were knackered or whether he done it because he caught two rockling!
