Might have a better idea when Tynemouth's results are in from tonight, but I'd probably head to St Mary's if there's not too much of a sea on...Cullercoats area has also thrown a few fish up recently as well as weed-beds around Sharpness at King Eddie's Bay. A little further north, the weeds around Cambois rocks could be holding a fish or two - likewise at Cresswell. A bucket of fresh crab will be a must!

Please note there's been a correction to the times for the last two matches - this sunday (17 Aug) fishing is from 12.30-5.30pm (not 1.30 as previously advertised) and the last match at Newton is fished from 11-4pm.

Sorry for any confusion - my mistake when making the original post! If you're fishing, or know others who are, please pass the word!

Cheers Reg, it's not been a very good summer for me & a struggle to find sized fish (best so far's only been 2 & 1/2 pound) but you never know, there's still time to come good!
