    Just wondering.....What goes after the mackerel when they're shoaled up?
    Garfish maybe?

    Might be enlightening to fish for them as well as the mackies with a 2nd rod out.
    Told the missus I was going on a diet. I'd only eat what I caught

      Have to say I only went out a few times to the piers last year and there were a few there then, people urinating all over the place, dumping rubbish and guts all over, getting wrecked etc. 9:30 one morning on south shields pier I saw half a dozen of them wander up with can's in hand, already half wrecked!

        Couple of years back I saw some cracking pollock tailwalking chasing maccy on ssp at dusk.
