Does anybody know if ID fishing do rod re-builds. I have a Conoflex Nemesis, originally built by them which is in need of a re-build. Could anybody tell me if they would be able to rebuild the rod for me?

Cheers
Thanks for all the responces and the welcome. I have heard Terry Woods work was good. The only other man i have considered is Stan Massey of Alba rods who i nkow is a Conoflex dealer, however he is located in Scotland. I was thinking that i would have it rebuilt in the same colours it was originally. Also i have a Greys PZ300t which has a few damaged Zircon rings, the ring feet have began to rust and the varnish has cracked. I was either going to sell the rod or have it rebuilt as to the original standard.

A good mate of mine re-whps/rebuilds rods who does them for billys tackle and anyone else who wants them done still does them for s n a baits aswell, his works spot on and will do anything you want doing to your rod, chances are he will pick your rod up from where you are and drop it off when finished he uses only the best gear aswell and is from north shields way. its £65 i think for a full re-whip. i cant fault his work iv seen him go on and i know people who have rods done off him and have been well impressed if you want his number just pm me.Always got it!

Rod rebuild
Hi Gillbo
Some members have been kind enough to let you know the quality of my building, and i thank them for that, however, unfortunately i could not rebuild either of your rods this side of Christmas as i am very very busy. you could consider taking brashy's offer.
My building is second to none.
Some advice for you, your PZ, why dont you just snap the tip and pay £30 to have replaced under the unconditional guarantee that you get with the greys rods instead of paying someone like me £60 for the rebuild.
regards
TerryIf people think you are an idiot, why speak and remove all doubt !

Greys Warranty
This is a British made PZ300t and is around seven years old now showing a few battle scars. I will dig the Greys warranty card out but i dont think they have an unconditional lifetime gaurantee like the newer chinese Greys rods. I have heard form a few lads that Greys have offered to replace older snapped Greys rods with newer for the price of the sections. I know of someone who snapped a Greys SRX casting and had it replaced with a new 14' Mk11 Apollo for the price of the two sections at £30 per section, although he had to cut the tip up and send it through the post. Ideally i would like to have it made up to the original sepcifications for both rods. Perhaps it may be better to get them done in the summer when you may not be as busy YoursTruely?
