Abu 484cs !

Anyone who has seen my posts and my signature will know that I love the old classic ABU stuff. Well if there are any other classic ABU collectors out there you should know that there is a classic ABU 484CS on Ebay right now. The 484CS was the flagship rod in its day, carbon re-enforced tip and speedlock handle. Not everyone's cup of tea as only certain reels will fit, best with the 9000 reel. I am not advertising, just thought I would mention it as they do not come up very often

Good spot ! Love old abu gear myself. Still have my old 484S 'tho the suede is rather baldy now (like me !)

Wish I kept my 484 & 464 still got my 484 c although it is only 10 ft dural snapped at the bottom of the chrome / brass reel fitting electrolysis probably refitted the blank and fitted a fuji reel seat casts ok ideal for rocks where there's no room ideal for conger close range like a big spring
