  • Zziplex, which one?

I'm after a new rod before my money burns a hole in my pocket!
Looking for a fairly new model for fishing rough (not too rough) marks
What am I gonna get with £250
Or am I better saving up for a new one?

I'll think you will be lucky to find a decent condition rough ground zzipie for 250 mate.

maybe a century or a torrix?

          Tell me about it,
          Looked at 2 this week
A zeteque which I suspect to be a fake rod
          &
An old bullet which looks like it's been dragged behind a car through gravel & would need at least quarter of an inch building up on spigot & he had the cheek to call it useable but good condition bargain at £180

just keep your eye out mate on sales section, now the winter season is finished/finishing, there maybe a few heavy ground rods coming up for sale.

as long as its original and not thrashed you should be ok

Have a look here: eFISHsell - New & Used Fishing Tackle Online Marketplace... , they are blanks only so you'll have to save a few more pennies and get Stan, Primoman or one of the other local builders to make it up for you.

Like the lads have said you probably need another £50 to get yourself a decent second hand Zziplex and be careful what you are looking at - I'd tend to stick to buying off here from known lads as that "Zeteque" you were offered is about as Kosher as a pork chop
                CLIP IT AND WHACK IT

great place to get blanks, and they all come with a genuine zzipie rod bag, I've bought a couple blanks from Tom at efishell, if in stock will be with you in a couple of days too.

                        Sorted thanks to gary2010
Fishing rods are like buses wait for ages for one, then loads arrive together
                        Now got a m4 evo.
                        Hst dymic
& had phonecall off the lad with zeteque he's got a receipt & is desperate for the cash & looks like Iv got a very cheap rod ideal for a spare or knocking around the rocks
+ my sonik sk3 rough ground

The missus will be ****ed when she sees the saving jar is empty
Anyway thanks everyone for your help & advice
