I've got an original Mk1, quality rod. Was gutted the last time I was out when I snapped the tip lifting a kelp frond with a bolder attached out of the river. My own stupid fault. Lost about 6 inches of the tip. Wanted to cry

Me pal once snapped me tip off in the car boot,gutted,nearlly got done for murder lol me 2pc was a 3pc now.Ohh well,all part of growing up

I've fitted a new end eye but haven't tried it as yet. Hoping the action hasn't been spoiled too much. Fingers crossed

6" to loose is qt a bit buddy,it will be useable but won't have the same bite detection/action as b4,but like I say u will still be able to use it,might be like a scaffpole tho,best of luck with it buddy,hope it's not too pokerish 4u

That's what I thought. I've got a replacement rod now. But still gutted.

It be like putting a tip ring on a broom handle lol,would be able to use it but all the action/feelings gone.Know how u feel,had it mesen
