  • wheres all the whiting?

    where is all the whiting? ive been fishing a couple of times, and havnt yet caught a whiting, but i thought there should be plenty in by now?

        there where some good whiting in the South Shields open, some well over 1lb, i should know I scrounged a good few of them. they mainly came from the river Hebburn, Mill Dam and Jarra

          everytime i have fished big sea i have hardly caught any whiting, saying that i hardly catch owt anyway
          target of 10 codling this season and gonna try for a pig!!!!1

              Whiting caught in a good sea are normally quite large, but you don't get very many. They prefer flat as a fart and freezing cold nights. Like Charlie said the cod are here!!
