Happy New Year Advice please

Unsuccessfully tried some beach fishing a few times this winter around Warkworth / Amble area. Can anyone point me in the direction of a safe area to fish from in this area that might throw up the odd fish this time of year? Usually take an older friend with me who cannot walk too far / climb down steep banks etc... I realise fishing anywhere is a gamble but easy access and a better chance of an odd fish would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tony really appreciate the reply. Any particular area of the beach? tackle bait tips? Had a look on google maps and it is quite a long stretch

I have fished the beach near Amble caravan park with little success and my local beach Warkworth seems dead at the moment.
