Hi lads just wondering what knot you recommend for tying braided shock leader to braided main line on a fixed spool reel

Back to back uni is what I use, nice small knot and it does'nt budge.

Ditto and a bit of super glue wouldn't go amiss as well.

        one question what size braid are you useing i.e. 20lb , 30lb , 50lb
as i use 50lb on my fixed spool so no need for a shock leader and it is a small dia so still get loads on spool

If you're fishing Sunday mate I'll show the knot I use, very strong and very effective

            Try this one.
I just loaded a spool with 70lb braid so just put a Gemini on the end and attach a rig directly to it. A lot easier than doing leaders.
70lb is no thicker than a 20ld mono line and is better for pulling free from some snags.
Told the missus I was going on a diet. I'd only eat what I caught

Would'nt fancy tying that in a gale with rain and numb fingers, you'll be there all night lol.
