    Yer great fish, shows they are around our shores, shame it had to be killed but who whould have had the balls to walk into a tackle shop and tell people with no proof.

      I hope the Chronicle contacted you Alan before running the story as they rang me asking for Callums number and I told them that you do the catch reports and the photo's are your property so they should speak to you first. They said they would sort that out.

        At least I had the pleasure of seeing the beast in the flesh and weighing the fish for the lad.
        No Rory Chronicle never contacted me, dont know what photos they used as i dont get the Chronicle

          Typical of them not to contact you. I assume they used the same pic you sent me that are in the gazette. By the way, I'll get a copy of the gazette off to you in the next couple of days.

          I thought they used your Journal report in the Chronicle on a Thursday night?

            No Sam Harris does the Chronicle on Thursday would have imagined they would have some other photos, they knowthey just cant use photos without permission. Good to see the lad getting plenty publicity for his catch.

              Lol....his Granny is chuffed to bits for him. I pass by her house every morning on the way to work and she's been at her door every morning to speak to me. So chuffed in fact I've struggled to get to work on time as she's kept me talking (not hard if it's about fishing). lol. So pleased for him.
