HUGE seas forecast - Hooly type winds too

There's been a couple of false starts - but will this Friday mark the beginning of the season?

    I hope so

I hope it marks the beginning by catching a decent cod mate, just checked the synoptic charts on metcheck winds turn northerly fri night into saturday but go straight back to westerly saturday into sunday but hopefully the northerly blast will be enough to put a decent run on for a few days, fingers crossed.Do i sound like Michael Fish??

If you sounded like Michael Fish you'd have said it was going to be bright and sunny with little wind - only for us to be battered by hurricane strength weather ....I hope it is decent, coz i want to catch my FIRST (ever from the shore) Cod, let alone a decent one

Given the time of year and the forecast it looks promising mate I,ll be putting a few sessions in without a doubt, just need to sort some decent bait out before the weekend and choose a decent mark but i reckon most of the fishing population will be tying rigs as we speak in anticipation.
        Regards
