Hi JJ
Sorry i'm not a member of a club but you can check a few club details here http://www.nesa.co.uk/Fishing-Clubs/
how far are you willing to travel ?
hope you get sorted mate
First of all jj, we at the south shields club have had our constitution changed as we are trying to get grants to fund our new club premises, and during the course of this change to our club, we were advised that all sports clubs, fishing, football, tennis etc, etc, have to be police checked to enable youngsters like your two sons to be protected in case of any danger to your sons. It is called the child protection act if you want to check up on it. You just cannot let your sons at that age join a club as the members of the club are then responsible for your children, and if you are not with them and they get hurt then the members of that club are responsible. So every sports club out there that is trying to start a junior section ....beware...... it is not as easy as you think..
