You can fish it at high water off the cliffs or from the rocks at the bottom, driving from Seaham go north along the new road that ends at the old carshock garage and Mc'ds. When you come to the mini roundabout at the end of the cones go straight over and up the bank, take the 1st left and keep left to take you down behind the flats and park there, never had a problem with parking there. Walk across the road and slightly to the right, walk down the little road and under the 2 little bridges and it will bring you out at the cliff top. Walking to the left takes you to the top of the cliffs and walking straight ahead takes you down a cut in the cliff, its a bit hairy in the wet. The Target is the area from the "pipe" to the left looking north-east across to the point in the distance.

Walk south from the old Waters edge pub(think its mangos now) go past the 1st high rocks( the one with a gun turret on top) and keep following the path south, it will take you past a little beach then some more rocks. The next high rock you come to is target rock, its quite high and wouldnt advise going up it alone or in the dark, if you look south again you will see the other target rock, they used to be joined but collapsed a few years ago, and that one is scary!
